Job summary

Chick-fil-A Supply in West Columbia, SC is hiring a Warehouse Team Member to support Chick-fil-A restaurants. You will unload, pick, and load products at the Columbia Distribution Center and contribute to a safe, efficient operation.

Expect a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, with weekend and holiday flexibility. Starting pay is $20.75/hour with extensive benefits including meals, PTO, health options, and retirement plans to support your well-being.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Able to lift up to 65 pounds per case and handle up to 2,000 pounds with assistive devices.
Able to work in extreme temperatures and maintain safety at all times.
Strong communication and ability to follow instructions and paperwork.

Responsibilities

Overview

As a Warehouse Team Member, you will play a crucial role that directly impacts the success of Chick-fil-A restaurants. Duties include unloading, picking and loading product at the Chick-fil-A Supply Columbia Distribution Center in West Columbia, SC. Chick-fil-A Supply strives to be the most caring distribution center in the world with scheduling, pay and benefits that demonstrate care for our team members.

Schedule

Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 AM to 5:30PM or until the work is done:

4 Day Workweek (4 10-hour days)
The schedule will be assigned according to business needs, and flexibility is needed during weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Associate, you are a key driver in the efficiency, organization, and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Efficiency and Organization: You’ll be on your feet, actively engaging with unloading, staging, picking and loading products.
Safety First: Safely operating machinery like forklifts and pallet jacks and keeping our warehouse clean and safe.
Communication and Care: Connecting with care with everyone you come in contact with.
Additional Opportunities and Professional Development: Other duties and growth opportunities may also be assigned.

Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)

Extreme Temperature: Working in rotation through extreme temperatures (–10F to 100F) is required to keep our food safe!
Heavy Weights: Reach, bend, and stoop while lifting up to 65 pounds per case during most of your shift. Occasionally you will use mechanical assistance to move up to 2,000 pounds.
Education: High School Diploma or GED
Proficient in English (reading, writing, and speaking): to safely follow verbal instructions, complete documentation and paperwork, and accurately interpret labels, pick lists, scanner prompts, signage, and company communications.
