Job summary

MTH Pumps in Plano, IL seeks a full-time Shipping & Receiving Associate to join a team supporting our CNC production floor. The role offers $17 to $20 per hour, with a $1 raise after 90 days. Monday–Friday hours are 7:30 am–4:00 pm, preserving evenings off.

Responsibilities include receiving, packing, shipping finished goods, and maintaining ERP records. Tuition reimbursement and medical/dental insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Forklift certification, or willingness to obtain certification.
• Comfort with basic computer systems and ERP/inventory software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially with documentation.
• Ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with or without an accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and prepare finished goods for shipment, ensuring proper packaging to prevent damage in transit
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation (packing slips, bills of lading, customs paperwork for international orders, etc.)
• Coordinate with carriers (LTL, parcel, freight) to schedule pickups and track shipments
• Receive incoming materials and components, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for damage or discrepancies
• Accurately enter shipping and receiving transactions into our ERP system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping/receiving area
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment safely
• Collaborate with production, purchasing and customer service to resolve shipping issues or expedite priority orders

This position offers a competitive wage of $17 to $20 per hour (with $1 increase after 90 days). MTH Pumps operates Monday-Friday, 7:30 am-4 pm, so they also enjoy having their evenings free!

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A Warehouse Team Member

No two days are the same for a warehouse team member! Responsibilities range from receiving product at the dock, stowing and picking parts for orders and shipping completed pumps and orders to customers. Variety is the spice of life and as a member of the warehouse team, you will not be doing the same repetitive tasks all day. Most days will be assisting packaging and preparing pump and parts orders for shipment.
