The Summer Warehouse Intern supports warehouse operations by assisting with tasks such as shipping, receiving, picking, packing, sorting, and labeling. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in a logistics environment while maintaining safety and quality standards. Interns will not operate motorized equipment or perform tasks that require lifting more than 25 lbs.

The internship runs from June 1 through August 30, and interns will be scheduled to work no more than 20 hours per week.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving of incoming shipments.
• Sort and label products for inventory or shipment.
• Pick and pack items for customer orders with accuracy.
• Help prepare shipments for same-day or scheduled delivery.
• Support inventory organization and restocking efforts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas.
• Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and abilities:

• High school student or recent graduate; minimum age 18.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and task-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• Punctuality and reliable attendance are essential.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Interest in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Reports To:Logistics Supervisor and takes direction from Logistics Leads and support team members.

Environment:Warehouse environment, occasionally hot or cold temperatures, moderate noise level, occasional dust, chemical odors
