Job summary

Carowinds is seeking a Warehouse crew member to ensure timely delivery of orders to all locations. The role involves receiving, storing, and distributing products, restocking inventory, and maintaining a safe work environment in line with Six Flags policies.

Responsibilities include operating warehouse equipment, assisting with inventories, and delivering items around the park while providing guest service per standards. Flexible schedule, including nights and holidays, is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods.
• Ability to pass a mandatory drug test per company policy.
• Ability to pass a background check if 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stock using forklifts and dollies.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse vehicles.
• Process receiving paperwork and inventory records.
• Deliver items to park locations and retrieve empties.
• Restock beverage vending machines and stock shelves.
• Assist in weekly and monthly inventories and related paperwork.
• Mix chemicals for park use (disinfectant, cleaner).
• Provide guest service per Six Flags standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and report hazards.
• Meet scheduling availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow attendance policies and rules of conduct.

Job description

Overview

As a member of our Warehouse crew you play a very important role in ensuring all locations receive their orders as accurately and timely as possible. This position is physically demanding; you will be responsible for receiving, storing and distributing product for all locations. You will also assist in keeping accurate inventory, restocking product as it comes in and maintaining a safe work environment in accordance with policies and procedures.

• Load and unload stock from trucks with forklifts and dollies.
• Operate fork lifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse vehicles.
• Process completed paperwork to receiving.
• Deliver items to locations in park andretrieve “empties” (kegs, crates, etc.) from the locations in the park.
• Restock beverage vending machines.
• Stock shelves from deliveries.
• Makes deliveries of ordered products (i.e. food products, plush, cleaning supplies and maintenance parts) to various park
  locations.
• Assists in weekly and monthly inventories by assisting in counting products in the warehouse and completing the
  necessary paperwork.
• Mixes chemicals for park use such as disinfectant, degreaser, glass cleaner, all-purpose cleaner).
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including
  initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flags Safety
  guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
• Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Meets Six Flags' attendance requirements as outlined in Six Flags' attendance policies.
• Adheres to Six Flags' Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee
• Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
• Other duties may be assigned.
