Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal supervisor to lead, train, and develop workgroups focused on safety, productivity, and attendance at a busy warehouse location. This role requires coordinating performance standards, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and fostering a collaborative, proactive team environment.

The candidate should have strong communication skills, the ability to manage resources for efficiency, and experience in fast-paced warehouse settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international-equivalent is preferred.
• Management experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, operating in full compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement and proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans to support growth of department personnel.
• Ensures orientation, skills and safety training and regular evaluations for all employees.
• Upholds safety policies at all times.
