Wayfair in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to support supervisors across Receiving, Picking, Packing, Shipping, and Bulk. You will actively lead a 6–15 person team, manage workflow, train staff, and ensure safety, quality, and KPI targets are met.

This frontline role emphasizes hands-on leadership, problem resolution, and daily coordination of inbound/outbound flow while maintaining inventory accuracy and efficient warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of warehouse experience preferred, with multi-department exposure.
• PIV certification is required; forklift operations training is a plus.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and coaching abilities.
• Working understanding of WMS systems and trouble-ticketing processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate for a team typically 6–15 associates, coordinating workloads and supporting production targets and KPIs.
• Drive safety, quality, and efficiency; provide real-time feedback and address performance issues.
• Conduct pre-shift briefs, safety topics, and daily stretching; onboard and train new staff.
• Oversee inbound/outbound flow, inventory accuracy, and dock-to-stock SLAs; manage email responses.
