Saddle Creek Logistics Services is hiring a Lead Warehouse Associate in Walton, KY. This leadership role oversees loading and unloading, assigns work, and ensures adherence to safety policies to protect products and staff.

You will supervise a team, complete records, and troubleshoot equipment with a focus on quality service. The position requires at least two years in a warehouse, HS diploma, and forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum of warehouse experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to perform physically demanding duties in varying temperatures.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Reach and sit-down forklift experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written or oral instruction, including unloading, outbound staging and loading, and freight labeling.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report to maintenance.
• Advise associates on care and preservation of product and safe use of equipment.
• Support high-quality customer service by assisting with warehouse functions as needed.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures and address non-compliance.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse staff and follow site safety policies.
