Job summary

Kmtire in Vandalia, OH is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise unloading, organize stock, and lead a small team. You will train staff, ensure accuracy with packing slips, and uphold safety rules while filling in for other warehouse roles as needed.

In this role you will monitor productivity, coordinate staffing with the warehouse manager, and maintain designated storage areas to keep products restocked daily. The schedule is Sun-Thurs, 2pm–11pm.

The WAREHOUSE TEAM LEADER works under the direction of the warehouse manager; oversees unloading of product; provides training and work for others; keeps product organized and restocked in warehouse; can fill in for warehouse positions; misc. duties.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

6. Verify product with packing slip

9. Responsible for managing and resolving conflict in the work environment by using the company values as a guide.
10. Notify/work with the warehouse manager on items that need done or improved.
11. Work with the warehouse manager on staffing needs.
12. Make sure everyone observes all safety rules.
13. Have a “to do” list for each area, post so other team members knows what needs attention and when it needs done.
14. Make sure all products is put and kept in their designated area and product is restocked daily.
15. Respond to after hour alarms.

Expectations

1. Assists in the hiring, training and evaluation of employees.
2. 10 or less missed ships per month due to warehouse errors.
3. Product should be in its designated spot and warehouse layouts need updated within 1-2 weeks of receiving.
4. Increase/maximize employee productivity
5. Unload all product within 1 day of arriving on lot
6. Enforce safety and company policy and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of supervisor experience or equivalent education or go thru K&M University training program.
