As a Warehouse Lead Associate at Protective Industrial Products, you will play an important role in efficiently distributing industrial products within our warehouse. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, ensure smooth daily operations, and accurate, timely shipping of orders. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining high productivity and quality in the distribution center.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide operational and functional leadership.
2. Lead shift team meetings on training, performance, and scheduling.
3. Perform order picking/packing and shipping to keep operations current.
4. Drive standard operating procedures and continuous improvement.
5. Assign resources to properly staff work areas during shifts.
6. Ensure team output meets goals and objectives.
7. Ensure team compliance with all policies and procedures.
8. Troubleshoot quality issues and assist in problem solving.
9. Communicate warehouse issues during shifts to Supervisor.
10. Share department information with the team.
11. Complete assignments and report metrics at meetings.
12. Follow and promote safety regulations.
13. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
14. Maintain and improve inventory accuracy.
15. Work flexible hours, including occasional Saturdays.
16. Be vigilant and visible on the production floor.

Other Requirements

1. Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
2. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
3. Forklift experience preferred.

Education

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, push, pull, and occasionally lift and carry moderate weights in a fast-paced environment.
