Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking a General Warehouse Associate for a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift in the Joliet area (IL). The role spans multiple distribution center departments including case pick, shipping, receiving, returns, loading, order processing, and replenishment.

You will operate material handling equipment to move inventory, assist with staging and loading orders, and verify incoming products. This position emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely processing in a busy warehouse

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in a distribution center.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to understand written material.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment to move inventory.
• Assist with staging and loading orders into trucks for customer delivery.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming products from vendors and distribution centers.
• Use packing list information to collect items for customer orders, including building and wrapping pallets.
• Inspect stock for wear; report issues to management.
• Return misplaced products to proper storage areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per safety policies.
• Perform inventory control functions as needed.
