Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to supervise daily warehouse operations on First Shift. You will lead a team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety while driving efficiency in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous Team Lead experience preferred.
• One year or more Microsoft Office experience preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• RF scanner experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive continuous improvement for efficient operations.
• Perform warehouse tasks including loading, picking, packing, shipping and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work for optimal shift performance.
• Inspire team members to improve KPI performance using effective leadership.
• Provide orientation and tools to staff to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork and daily reports; propose action plans.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $22.50 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm with every other Saturday for OT as required

Warehouse Warehouse Associates work in clean, organized, and well-run facilities to provide the safest supply chain environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
• Valid forklift operator's license certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective leadership skills
• Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
