Job summary

Saddle Creek Logistics Services is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate to oversee the handling of customer products, assign work, and lead warehouse teams on loading, unloading, and outbound staging. Emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity in daily operations.

The role requires 2+ years in a warehouse environment, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks and drug screening; forklift certification is a plus. Competitive benefits accompany this schedule-based position.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in varying temperatures.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to warehouse personnel through written and/or oral instruction.
• Supervise tasks performed by warehouse personnel.
• Complete reports and records in a timely manner.
• Troubleshoot machine and equipment malfunctions and report them to maintenance.
• Advise associates on care of product and use of equipment.
• Ensure high-quality customer service through assisting associates in warehouse functions.
• Enforce safety, quality, and productivity procedures.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Adhere to safety policies and guidelines; perform additional duties as needed.
