Ryder System, Inc. in Aberdeen, MD is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to drive daily operations in a fast-paced environment. You will lead a team, coordinate tasks, and ensure safety and quality across receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred.
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required.
• Valid forklift operator's license certified.

Responsabilités

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team members for optimal shift operations.
• Inspire and guide team members towards KPI improvements using appropriate leadership styles.
• Assist with orienting employees and providing needed information and tools to perform their jobs.
• Promote health and safety practices within the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment.
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
