American Tire Distributors is seeking a Lead Person for the RDC Operations team in California. This role supports management with training, onboarding, and coaching while overseeing daily warehouse activities, inventory accuracy, and safety compliance.

The Lead Person coordinates workflow, reports, and cross-training to ensure timely, accurate operations. You will drive productivity, communicate with management, and uphold policies, contributing to a safe, efficient distribution environment.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• 4-6 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in warehouse operations or distribution center settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between team members and Management to ensure effective communication.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and report non-compliance.
• Assist in administering safety programs to maintain a safe working environment.
• Coordinate planned workflow with Supervisor/Manager to meet objectives.
• Complete process, accuracy, and production reports aligned with daily goals.
• Provide on-the-job training and cross-training using onboarding tools.
• Ensure inventory integrity and aim for variance of 2% or less.
• Offer insights for process improvements and support implementation.
• Provide resources to teams to optimize performance.
