Job summary

S&S Activewear is hiring a Team Lead for the Receiving & IC team in Lockport, IL. The role oversees compliance, guides the team, and ensures adherence to SOPs within the Distribution Center.

The position runs Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM–9:30 PM, is full-time and non-exempt, paying $23.43 per hour. Benefits include health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, plus employee discounts and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and machinery.
• Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
• Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
• Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
• Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
• Ability to work overtime when needed.
• Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership for process improvements in the DC.
• Monitor orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks.
• Adhere to KPI targets for safety, quality, production, and efficiency.
• Document discrepancies, damaged items, shortages, or unidentified packages.
• Support training of new and existing staff.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the Distribution Center.
