Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead for our warehouse operations in Clayton, Indiana. This full-time role supports the team on first shift, overseeing day-to-day processes to ensure accurate inventory and timely order completion.

You will train and coach the warehouse staff, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure safety and policy compliance while using SAP and WMS tools to optimize workflow. Weekend/O/T availability may be required.

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
1 year of SAP experience.
Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels are maintained and orders are completed accurately and on time.
Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities; suggest performance improvements.
Utilize warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
Establish and promote exceptional customer service.
Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
Safely operate equipment and provide support to management.
Track orders and investigate problems; catalog and track goods.
