Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Warehouse Operations to oversee a warehouse team and ensure efficient inventory control and order fulfillment. This role requires hands-on leadership, process optimization, and adherence to safety standards.

You will train staff, manage workload, and coordinate with management to maintain service levels while supporting a safe, productive environment. This is a day-shift, on-site position with opportunities to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime, weekends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to ensure correct inventory levels and timely order completion.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide development opportunities; suggest performance improvements.
• Utilize the warehouse management system and maintain work documents.
• Establish and promote exceptional customer service.
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment and provide management support.
• Track orders and investigate issues; catalog goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment per the 7S program.
