Job summary

Jay Group is seeking a Team Lead for the 1st shift at our Mountville, PA facility. You will motivate and guide a warehouse team to meet daily goals, ensure safety, train new hires, and coordinate with supervisors on workflow and documentation.

You will monitor productivity, provide feedback, and maintain high standards of conduct while promoting a positive, safe environment. OT may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse team lead experience preferred.
• Able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work OT as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity.
• Monitors the productivity of the team and coaches underperformers.
• Auditing the quality of work and giving feedback.
• Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork.
• Maintaining high standards for professional conduct.
• Onboarding and Training new hires.
• Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct.
• Listening to feedback and resolving issues from the team, escalating as necessary.
• Promoting a safe and motivating workplace and atmosphere.
• Completing required tasks in a Warehouse Management System (WMS) such as printing orders and invoicing.
