This is a working-lead position designed for someone who enjoys being actively involved in warehouse operations while providing day‑to‑day guidance and support to the team. The Team Lead will work alongside warehouse associates, help maintain productivity and safety standards, and serve as a key point of contact between warehouse employees and management.
The majority of the shift will be spent performing hands‑on warehouse duties, including unloading freight and other physical warehouse tasks. The Team Lead will also provide direction to team members, assist with training, communicate operational issues to management, and help ensure the shift runs safely and efficiently.
This position is part of a 7-day-a-week operation and requires the ability to work a consistent four-day schedule of either Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday.
Perform hands‑on warehouse duties, including unloading trailers, moving freight, staging product, and other general warehouse tasks.
Work alongside warehouse associates while leading by example in productivity, safety, attendance, and work quality.
Provide daily direction, support, and coaching to warehouse associates.
Help establish and maintain a productive pace throughout the shift.
Communicate with warehouse management regarding daily operations, productivity, staffing, and any issues or concerns.
Assist with training and onboarding new warehouse employees.
Ensure company safety procedures, warehouse policies, and operational standards are consistently followed.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Identify and communicate operational issues, freight concerns, or process inefficiencies to management.
Support inventory accuracy, proper freight handling, and efficient warehouse flow.
Assist management with implementing process improvements and maintaining consistent operating procedures.
Promote a positive, respectful, and team‑oriented work environment.
This is a highly physical, hands‑on warehouse position. Candidates must be comfortable performing manual labor throughout the majority of the shift.
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Perform manual unloading of trailers and freight for extended periods.
Bend, squat, twist, reach, climb, and work on your feet for extended periods.
Repeatedly move and handle freight in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.
Maintain productivity and quality standards while performing physically demanding work.
Work safely around warehouse equipment, trailers, docks, and other operational areas.
Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
At least 6 months of warehouse leadership, Team Lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
Previous experience unloading trailers or performing manual warehouse labor strongly preferred.
Strong work ethic and ability to lead by example.
Reliable attendance and ability to work a consistent four-day schedule.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
Forklift or other warehouse equipment experience is a plus but not required.
This is a full‑time, first‑shift position working four days per week within a warehouse operation that operates 7 days a week.
