Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Raleigh, NC is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead for the night shift. The role includes overseeing daily warehouse operations, coordinating priorities, and ensuring safety and efficiency on the floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• One year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) preferred.
• One year or more warehouse experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with an RF scanner required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for warehouse operations.
• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift operations.
• Inspire team members toward KPI improvements using effective leadership styles.
• Provide orientation and tools to employees to perform their jobs effectively.
• Promote health and safety in the warehouse.
• Handle day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading.
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose actions to improve service levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
• One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of the operations.
• Perform warehouse function, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and, cycle counting.
• Allocate resources and organize and distribute daily work duties to members to ensure optimal shift/team operational logistics.
• Inspire and guide team members towards improved Key Performance Indicator (KPI’s) using the appropriate leadership styles and methods.
• Assist in proving appropriate orientation for employees and give them the necessary information, technology and tools to perform their jobs.
• Assist with promoting health and safety working methods within the warehouse.
• Deal with day to day paperwork in a warehouse environment (i.e. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
