A leading company in home goods is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to manage and oversee warehouse functions. Responsibilities include leading the receiving department, ensuring productivity and clean operations, and training new associates. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have experience in a warehouse setting.
The Warehouse Team Lead will assist your supervisor with managing and overseeing all functions of the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations of all activities.
Lead the receiving department and ensure the functions are used correctly.
Delegate and assign work to maintain a 100% fill rate.
Help manage inventory and conduct necessary training within the department.
Ensure proper use and accountability of tools.
Ensure hours and functions are recorded accurately (e.g., time clocks).
Be responsible for answering email and verbal questions promptly.
Maintain product flow and oversee the cleanliness of the department, including daily trash compacting.
Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
