Job summary

UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking an entry-level warehouse associate to maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the warehouse. You will load, unload, and move products by hand and on carts, pallets, and jacks following safety guidelines and best practices.

You will accurately count quantities and ensure labeling is up to date, while picking orders without forklifts and documenting conditions with a camera.

Qualifications

• Entry level, no experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
• Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately count and record quantities for inventory transactions.
• Identify materials moved match descriptions on documentation.
• Ensure proper labeling disciplines are followed and product numbers are up to date.
• Ensure bulk packed materials are boxed, taped, wrapped, packed, banded or shrink wrapped for safe transport.
• Locate, label and pick required materials as identified on print pick lists.
• Pick daily orders without the use of a forklift.
• Use a camera to document inbound and outbound load conditions and quality issues.
• Use basic hand tools for opening/closing crates and basic assembly tasks.
• Read and understand written pick lists.
