You will load, unload, and move product by hand, on carts, pallets, and pallet jacks, following company safety guidelines and best practices to keep production flowing. Responsibilities include accurate counting and recording of inventory, verifying materials against documentation, labeling compliance, proper packing, and picking daily orders without forklift use.

Qualifications

  • Entry-level position with no experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders.
  • Must have knowledge of the custom store fixture industry and receiving.
  • Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and record quantities for inventory transactions.
  • Identify materials moved and ensure descriptions match associated documentation.
  • Ensure proper labeling disciplines and up-to-date product numbers.
  • Pack, box, tape, wrap, band, or shrink-wrap bulk materials for safe transport.
  • Locate, identify, label and pick required materials from printed pick lists.
  • Perform daily picking without the use of a forklift.
  • Use a camera to document inbound/outbound load conditions and quality issues.
  • Use basic hand tools for crates and light assembly tasks.
  • Read and understand written pick lists.
