Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics is seeking a site-based technical support and data analysis specialist in Northlake, TX to manage warehouse management system operations and drive efficiencies. You will partner with Operations and IT to resolve issues, design reports, and develop tools to monitor storage, inventory, and freight flows while training staff on WMS usage.

Qualifications

Strong problem-solving and analytical ability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledgeable of warehouse operations and freight/logistics optimization.
Excellent planning, time management, collaboration, decision making, organization, and presentation skills.
Ability to develop and document processes and procedures.
Proficient in analysis techniques (statistics, correlations, data sampling).
Ability to work well in a team environment and manage through conflict professionally.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Serves as primary technical support for site database operations and WM setup/control processes.
Interfaces with Operations to review procedures and maximize system efficiencies; provide analysis and recommendations.
Coordinates with IT to resolve site issues; defines site requirements for WMS layouts and design; investigates new technologies.
Designs, develops, and implements tools to analyze operational activities (storage, inventory, freight, etc.).
Develops standardized and ad hoc reporting; analyzes discrepancies and implements procedures to minimize.
Conducts feasibility analyses on processes and equipment; proposes solutions.
Trains associates on WMS usage and serves as site expert on WMS logic.
Trains staff on site systems/tools to ensure SOPs and productivity.
Monitors system performance, performs maintenance and backups.
Other duties as assigned.
