Job summary

AVmedia, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily operations by preparing, organizing, and transporting audiovisual equipment for meetings and events. You will stage, test, and maintain gear, ensuring safety and efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will collaborate with Project Managers and Operations staff, assist with inventory, and drive company vehicles as needed, contributing to exceptional service for internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years warehouse/logistics or audiovisual experience preferred.
• AV equipment experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Forklift or box truck experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, stage, and coordinate audiovisual equipment for shows and events.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and returns.
• Pick, pack, and verify show orders.
• Load and unload company vehicles and freight safely.
• Perform quality control inspections on returned equipment.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of AV equipment.
• Organize and store equipment per warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory cycles, counts, and audits.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations staff on equipment needs.
• Drive company vehicles for deliveries and pickups.

GENERAL PURPOSE

Support the daily operations of the warehouse by preparing, organizing, inspecting, and transporting audiovisual equipment for meetings and events. Ensure equipment is accurately staged, tested, and maintained while supporting efficient warehouse operations and delivering exceptional service to internal and external customers. Operate in accordance with AVmedia policies, procedures, and safety standards.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare, organize, stage, and coordinate audiovisual equipment for assigned shows and events.
• Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and returned equipment.
• Pick, pack, and verify show orders to ensure all required equipment and accessories are included.
• Load and unload company vehicles and freight safely and efficiently.
• Perform quality control inspections on returned equipment and identify items requiring repair or maintenance.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting and minor repairs of audio visual equipment as needed.
• Organize, clean, and properly store equipment following established warehouse procedures.
• Assist with inventory organization, cycle counts, and warehouse audits.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Operations staff regarding equipment needs and show requirements.
• Drive company vehicles, including box trucks, for equipment deliveries and pickups as assigned.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and fleet safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse and event operations.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One to three years of warehouse, logistics, or audiovisual experience preferred.
• Experience with professional audio visual equipment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in a physically active environment throughout the workday.
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic technical equipment issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required for positions involving company vehicle operation.
• Experience operating a box truck or forklift is preferred.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

AVmedia Family Members assigned to operate company vehicles must successfully meet AVmedia's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) requirements. Drivers are expected to operate company vehicles safely, comply with all traffic laws and company fleet policies, complete required vehicle inspections, and immediately report accidents, incidents, or maintenance concerns. Failure to meet driving or fleet safety standards may result in the loss of driving privileges or other disciplinary action.
