Spee Dee Delivery Service, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Support to assist with daily operations in Des Moines. The role supports warehouse and transportation, helps with route coverage, parks and fuels trucks, and ensures timely delivery to branches.

Shifts include 10:00 PM and 4:00 PM Monday–Friday, with overtime after 40 hours and pay of $24.00–$26.00 per hour plus shift differential. Must pass a DOT exam and have a valid driver's license; 21+ years old required.

Qualificações

• 1+ year of leadership and transportation experience preferred.

Job Summary

The Warehouse Support role assists with daily operations by supporting both warehouse and transportation functions as needed. This position helps ensure efficient workflow by handling packages, assisting with route coverage when needed, parking vehicles, and fueling trucks.

Hours and Wages

• Available Shifts:
• Monday-Friday, 10:00PM Start
• Monday-Friday, 4:00PM Start
• May be expected to cover variable shifts based on business needs
• Paid OT at time and a half after 40 hours per week
• $24.00-26.00 per hour, based on experience, plus shift differential

Skills And Abilities

• Ability to operate a manual transmission, or have the willingness to learn
• Ability to read labels at a fast pace and work independently

Education And Experience

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hold a valid Driver's License with a good driving record which meets company standards
• 1+ year of experience in leadership and transportation industry preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam
• Ability to bend, lift, twist, carry, and slide freight weighing up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work with all types to freight which include, but are not limited to hazardous material, perishable food and alcohol, firearms, ammunition, and live animals
