The Warehouse Supervisor supports the efficient operation of Warehouse functions including Order Processing, Sample Processing, Stock and Inventory control. This role involves assisting in evaluating current processes and resources, recommending changes to support growth, and training staff with a focus on cross-training and upskilling. The position coordinates between Logistics and internal/external functions to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

The duties and tasks of the Warehouse Supervisor include:
• Oversee daily operations related to Dangerous Goods (DG) and Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) orders fulfillment and management, both Samples and Finished goods.
• Implement and run Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
• Liaise with Shipping Department to ensure Order Processed and Fulfilled are on compliance with DG Transportation Federal Regulations in according with 49 CFR and DGR.
• Liaise with Customer Services and Blending to develop logistics capacity plans, and ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Ensure optimal workflow and shipping lanes conditions to facilitate warehouse excellence.
• Assist in developing and implementing departmental strategies.
• Support continuous improvements initiatives to improve actual processes, promoting floor engagement and developing a Root Cause Analyses mindset.
• Analyze data to assess performance and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Help manage departmental budget and expenditure.
• Sort, Set and Standardize workstation areas to optimize workflow.
• Conduct regular 1-1s with direct reports, providing coaching and support.
• Foster a positive environment for internal talent development.
• Ensure staff are properly trained and cross-trained.
• Implement safety training and verification processes.
• Optimize storage space on relevant areas and support efforts with the Inventory Team to ensure accurate inventory counts.
• Support accident/emergency investigations and report submissions.
• Assist in writing and enforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Address customer complaints and non-conformance reports (NCRs) and CAPAs.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards before audits.
• Proficient or Developing Proficiency with JDE and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to lead and manage diverse staff.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Capability to coordinate, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred or equivalent experience.
