Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee shipping/receiving operations for our bedding team. You will supervise production and operation workers across departments, ensuring orders flow smoothly and schedules are aligned with production goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing, a high school diploma or GED, and a track record of safety compliance and team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs.

Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels and respond to fluctuating workloads.
• Coordinate with other supervisors on daily schedule, workflow, personnel issues.
• Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems.
• Review work throughout the process and at completion to ensure proper execution.
• Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against work orders.
• Inform designated employees or departments of loaded items and problems.
• Prepare and maintain work records and reports.
• FIll in for any area, employee, or department as needed.
• Process orders to communicate material flow and follow up on rush, sample or shortage orders.
• Check equipment and PPE for safe condition and usage of safety policies.
• Coordinate with HR and Plant Management on infractions and discipline as necessary.
• Report changes in production affecting duties and safety hazards to HR to keep JSAs current.
• Check quality of material coming into departments and monitor order status.
• Show operators how styles are fabricated and assist in training of new employees.
• Expedite necessary orders through the plant.
• Ensure raw materials are ordered as needed.
• Communicate necessary information to plant personnel.
• Perform quality checks.
