The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a no-fee program assisting men and women in their rehabilitation journey. The center relies on the diligence and devotion of its employees to maintain and improve program effectiveness.

About Our Operations Team

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and train all warehouse associates and beneficiaries to reach operation efficiency and achieve production goals.
• Evaluate employee performances and give accurate reviews and clear attainable goals.
• Overall responsibility for production department performance and lead by example.
• Ensure all merchandise is priced according to pricing policy.
• Maintain quality control for all materials going to the stores.
• Secure collection and handling of all jewelry and high-ticket items.
• Enforce policy that no merchandise is taken, given, or lent; strictly prohibit shopping or storing product.
• Ensure safe, proper use, and maintenance of warehouse supplies and production equipment.
• Keep immediate work area clean, neat, and organized.
• Follow safety measures established by ARC policy and government regulations.
• Overtime requires written approval of the supervisor; supervisor's initials must appear on the timecard next to overtime hours.
• Supervisor may assign other written or verbal duties.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor teams of warehouse associates and beneficiaries.
• Strong communication, leadership, accountability, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to differentiate quality of donated items.
• Adaptability to supervise and work in various production units.
• Proven track record hitting production goals.
• Previous experience working with diverse and vulnerable populations.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as file cabinets, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive motion tasks.

Education and Experience

• High school or equivalent preferred.
• Management experience: 1-2 years preferred.
• Warehouse experience: 2-3 years preferred.
