Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team at our Des Moines, WA facility. The role focuses on directing workflow, training staff, and ensuring accurate shipping, receiving, and controlled-substance handling with strict safety and regulatory adherence.

Responsibilities include overseeing logs, route manifests, inventory checks, and timely order fulfillment while maintaining records and coaching team members for performance and development.

Qualifications

• Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs the workflow, motivates, trains and monitors the performance of warehouse associates.
• Monitors work processes and makes suggestions for modifications to increase and improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy for improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed.
• Supports compliance with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Coaches employees to support their development in the role.
• Oversees the receipt of merchandise, ensuring that only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted by the receiving clerks; maintains daily logs with accurate information.
• Oversees counting, weighing and identifying items being shipped; checks materials against invoices and documents.
• Oversees filling orders, double-checking and shipping controlled substances with assistance of cage/vault clerks or order fillers.
• Maintains records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity, source and destination.
• Oversees manifests of routes and departures to ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Interacts with customers to resolve delivery or order filling issues.
• Maintains records documenting order-filling process (quantity, size, strength, NDC numbers).
• Oversees packing quality to ensure satisfactory customer receipt.
• Maintains records of incoming/outgoing controlled substances in cage/vault area.
• Manages attendance, performance and overtime for associates in area of responsibility.
