Job Details

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000

Shift Hours: Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, OR Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 5pm- complete

Please note, flexibility in schedule will be required based on business needs, this can include working different hours or days.

This position is located onsite at our facility in Williamston, MI. There is no option for remote or hybrid work.

Primary Role

The primary role of the Warehouse Supervisor is the hiring, termination, direction, and performance of associates. The Warehouse Supervisor also oversees functional areas of the warehouse such as receiving, shipping, returns, picking, packing, checking, stocking, order filling, returns, and management of the cage/vault. They oversee verification and record keeping of outgoing shipments of controlled substances to customers. The warehouse may have different degrees of radio-frequency (RF) devices to be used for these tasks. The warehouse supervisor is also responsible for ensuring all safety guidelines are followed.

Responsibilities

1. Directs workflow, motivates, trains, and monitors the performance of warehouse associates.
2. Monitors work processes and suggests modifications to increase productivity, efficiency, and accuracy; implements changes as needed.
3. Supports compliance with all policies, procedures, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
4. Coaches employees to support their development.
5. Depending on the area, supervises receipt of merchandise, ensuring only products intended for the Distribution Center are accepted; maintains accurate logs.
6. Oversees department staff in counting, weighing, and identifying items being shipped; checks materials against invoices and customer orders.
7. Oversees order filling and shipping of controlled substances with assistance from cage/vault clerks or order fillers.
8. Maintains records of the delivery process such as time, date, quantity, source, and destination of shipped materials.
9. Oversees manifests of routes and departures to ensure timely delivery.
10. May interact with customers to resolve delivery or order issues.
11. Ensures records documenting order-filling processes are maintained.
12. Oversees packing quality, ensuring merchandise arrives in satisfactory condition.
13. Maintains detailed records of incoming and outgoing controlled substances.
14. Manages associates' attendance, performance, and overtime.
15. Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education

Requires broad training such as a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields.

Work Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of directly related, progressively responsible experience.
