Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Enfield, CT. The role guides warehouse staff to meet on-time delivery with minimal errors, applying PDCA/MDI and Lean training to improve operations. You will lead scheduling, safety, and interviews while coordinating with HR for staffing needs.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30PM, with overtime as needed, and is based in Enfield, CT. A strong candidate has warehouse leadership experience and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

1-year certificate from college or technical school; or related experience and/or training.
College Degree or Technical School Certificate in Business preferred
5 years related warehouse experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

Plans and schedules the warehouse team to meet customer demands and goals.
Lead, motivate and direct employees with performance management techniques.
Manage the PDCA cycle and Lean program to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure safety standards and compliance with policies; oversee timecards and interviews.
Monitor shipping/receiving, manage backorders, and participate in inventories.
