Job summary

Graybar in Dallas seeks a Zone/Service Center Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations, supervise staff, and ensure efficient shipping, receiving, and inventory controls. The role focuses on maintaining safety, security, and accurate process execution within the zone/service center.

The position requires supervising multiple staff, with a strong emphasis on WMS expertise, training, and process improvement to meet service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• 4 year degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of employees engaged in loading, unloading, selection, packing, shipping and inventory control.
• Train and assign work to two or more warehouse employees; handle staff transfers and promotions as needed.
• Move and lift materials up to 70 pounds as required.
• Operate warehouse equipment per manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Maintain safe working conditions and security of merchandise.
• Maintain records of unshipped orders and prepare reports.
