Job summary

Performance Foodservice in Hickory, NC seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, order pulling, and loading for next-day delivery. You will supervise administrative staff, plan picks, and ensure accurate paperwork and stock rotation.

You will use the warehouse management system to maximize productivity, enforce safety protocols, and mentor a team focused on service quality and customer satisfaction. Prior experience in a warehouse setting is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of warehouse or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the administrative staff including hiring, scheduling, training and guidance, establishing job standards and evaluating performance.
• Ensures timely, accurate order pulling and proper stop sequence on the truck; completes all necessary paperwork.
• Ensures product received is stocked properly with first-in/first-out stock rotation.
• Demonstrates strong service quality through personal example and ensures staff understand their roles to meet customer expectations.
• Coordinates pick planning with the Warehouse Manager.
• Utilizes warehouse management system and other technologies to maximize productivity and analyzes performance for improvements.
• Handles building security and ensures safe operation of all material handling; adheres to health and safety programs.
