Job summary

BlueLinx is seeking a motivated Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations, ensure quality control, and uphold safety standards. This role suits a results-driven leader who excels at optimizing workflows, managing inventory, and fostering a high-performing team.

You’ll oversee receiving, storage and shipping; drive accuracy and continuous improvement; and coach staff to meet productivity goals while ensuring compliance with OSHA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of logistics experience in a warehousing environment; supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and safety compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant logistics tools
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and project management (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory, storage, and shipping
• Ensure error-free order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety regulations
• Motivate and coach a team to meet productivity and performance goals
• Drive continuous improvement in delivery and material handling processes
• Manage maintenance of warehouse equipment, fleet, and facilities
• Develop and uphold safety programs, adhering to OSHA and DOT regulations
