Job summary

R.S. Hughes Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, lead a team, and drive efficiency. Responsibilities include order fulfillment, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and safety adherence within a multi-site distribution network.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to SOPs, and hands-on management to foster a productive work environment while maintaining OSHA-compliant practices and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• 5+ years previous full-function warehouse experience required, with minimum 2 years in a Warehouse Supervisor role.
• Minimum 2 years Supervisory experience required.
• Hazmat Certified and forklift certification or 3 years' experience operating warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse duties to meet targets and SOPs.
• Manage order pulling, receiving/unloading, shipping, inventory control.
• Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Ensure safety policies and hazardous material handling compliance.
• Coach and train staff, onboard new employees, and conduct performance reviews.
