Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates planning and assignment of work to maximize efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintains inventory and helps establish inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
• Receives shipments and enters information into tracking system for disbursement.
• Inspects deliveries for accuracy and quality and rejects undesirable items.
• Opposes and secures warehouse and inventory at all times for safety and security.
• Assists in ordering from site vendors and communicates with management and vendors as needed.
• Develops and recommends improvements in warehouse practices to promote efficiency and cost savings.
• Provides training for warehouse employees and may assist in selecting staff.
• Uncrates shipments and disposes of or stores containers and packaging.
