Job summary

Altro USA, Inc. dba Compass Flooring, Wilmington, MA, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of flooring materials. The role demands strong leadership, inventory control expertise, and a focus on quality and safety to ensure efficient operations.

You will manage a team, implement SOPs, and collaborate across departments to meet deadlines and customer expectations. The position offers full-time hours with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in warehouse operations, preferably in construction or building materials.
• Strong knowledge of walling and flooring materials and industry terminology.
• Experience with WMS and inventory control procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and carry 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates.
• Oversee receiving, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Implement inventory management best practices to maintain accuracy.
• Coordinate order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Establish and enforce quality control standards.
• Develop and implement SOPs to optimize workflow.
• Ensure safety and proper use of PPE; maintain safe environment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service.
