Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse or logistics leadership experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).

• Ability to work in temperatures from -20°F to 100°F with PPE.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
• Must be comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• Manage incoming/outgoing shipments, organize merchandise, and maintain warehouse inventory.
• Plan production schedules and allocate resources to complete job assignments while keeping time and production records.
• Track and report to designated plant personnel.
• Track warehouse activities including sales, record control, and purchasing to ensure product availability.

Job description

This role is within Lineage Foodservice Solutions (LFS), supporting a Last Mile Distribution Warehouse in Attalla, AL.

We are seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Supervisor who will play a key role in leading daily warehouse operations, supporting team performance, and ensuring customer needs are consistently met.

This position will work 5 days per week and requires a leader who is flexible and adaptable to the evolving needs of the customer and operation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable adjusting priorities, supporting the team where needed, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, service, productivity, and operational excellence.

Supervise the operations and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness

• Resolve employee issues and maintain open lines of communication with all levels of the organization
• Perform assigned projects asinstructed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 2years warehouseor logisticsleadershipexperience
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Strong conflict management skills
• Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius in cold storage sites or up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius in dry storage sites while wearing company provided personal protective equipment and freezer gear
• Must be able to lift a minimum of40lbs.; weight may be more dependent upon facility
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift, including weekends if needed
• Must be comfortable with various noise levels, at times, can be loud
