Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, stocking, order picking, delivery and return of supplies. You will supervise staff, manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and ensure SOP compliance to support hospital operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in warehousing with forklift experience and 1–3 years of supervisory responsibility. Strong leadership and collaboration with Accounts Payable and other departments are essential for timely material

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field or 6 years in warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Assists Accounts Payable in reconciliation of invoiced not received discrepancies.
• Coordinates shipping, receiving, storage, replenishment, production order fulfillment & inventory control activities.
• Maintains data accuracy on movement and storage of material and adheres to regulatory guidelines.
• Communicates with establishment representatives to rectify receipt/shipment problems as needed.
• Ensures on-time execution of deliveries from warehouse to end user points and expedites as needed.
• Maintains inventory accuracy through SOPs and FIFO procedures.
• Conducts regular inspections of material and storage space and supervises cycle counts.
• Establishes procedures for meeting receipt and delivery commitments and handling materials.
• Monitors order accuracy, attendance, productivity and performance; provides coaching.
• Provides training to new and existing employees on department tasks and systems.
• Provides day-to-day supervision and direction to ensure delivery against plans and promotes continuous improvement.
• Contributes to warehouse operation strategies, budgets and improvement of work processes.
