Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to guide and control warehouse activities, ensuring accurate storing and distributing of materials, timely delivery, and a safe working environment through safety programs.

You will plan and assign work, maintain inventory, inspect shipments, supervise personnel, and develop improvements to boost efficiency, service speed, and cost reduction. Some duties may shift as needs change.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 3-5 years of experience in a shipping/receiving supervisor role.
• Requires basic mathematical skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must have excellent communications skills both verbal and written.
• Must be flexible and able to adjust to variable work demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and assignment of work for efficient use of personnel and equipment.
• Maintain inventory levels based on prior usage and future demand.
• Receive shipments and enter tracking information for disbursement.
• Inspect deliveries for accuracy and quality and reject undesirable items.
• Supervise warehouse and inventory to ensure security and upkeep.
• Assist in ordering from site vendors and advise management on needs.
• Develop and recommend improvements in warehouse practices to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Provide training for warehouse employees and assist with hiring.
• Uncrate shipments and properly dispose of or store containers and packaging.
