The opportunity

Delaware North Travel is hiring full-time Warehouse (Commissary) Supervisors to join our team at Atlanta Airport in Atlanta, Georgia.

As a Warehouse (Commissary) Supervisor, you will assist management in carrying out daily operations of the commissary and warehouse department.

$19.50 - $19.50 / hour

What will you do?

• Supervise commissary team, including assigning duties, training, coaching, and counseling
• Ensure proper stock of beer, soda, food, and other products are in their appropriate locations
• Maintain daily awareness of product needs; determine quantities required to adequately stock commissary
• Oversee inventory control, including receiving shipments, disposing of outdated material, cycle counting
• Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of storage areas, passageways, elevators, and work areas
• Oversee set up machines, equipment and proper closing of assigned area
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations
• Initiate and organize procedures to set standards for the warehouse
• Operate a company motor vehicle when necessary

More about you

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid GA Driver's License
• Minimum 6 months food and beverage commissary or related experience required
• Previous experience with Excel or similar database management computer systems required
• Strong managementskills; ability to delegate and coach others
• Basic math skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment following job procedures and manager instructions
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver up to 165 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, lifting and reaching, during the entire length of shift
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures may range from cold to hot depending on the season
