Job summary

Land O’Lakes, in Hicksville, NY, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead daily warehouse operations, ensuring accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of materials. You will drive safety and process improvements and supervise the warehouse team to meet production targets.

You will manage inbound and outbound loads, uphold inventory integrity, and coordinate with site management to satisfy customer needs. Prior dairy/food industry experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree OR 6+ years of leadership experience in warehouse/logistics (food/dairy).
• 2+ years of supervisory experience in warehouse/logistics (food/dairy).
• Knowledge of E1 system is helpful to oversee work orders.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound Purchase Orders from Suppliers and outbound loads to Distribution Centers and Customers.
• Ensure daily work schedule is completed according to productivity requirements.
• Maintain storage area by organizing floor space and improving layout.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of Finished Goods and Raw Materials inventory reporting.
• Conduct daily blind cycle counts and inventory analysis to resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in blind full cycle counts of inventory quarterly.
• Execute inventory control procedures coordinating daily with internal customers.
• Enforce all company rules and regulations.
• Manage customer service and internal customers’ requests and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure all required safety training is completed.
• Other duties as assigned

Warehouse Supervisor- 2nd Shift

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the day to day effective management of warehouse operations, enforcing policies and procedures for receiving Raw Materials, shipping Finished Goods, transfers of materials and inventory management and control. The Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop the Warehouse team and provide superior levels of customer service.

Hours:

M-F 1:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Weekends and off-shift as production requires)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of inbound Purchase Orders from Suppliers and all aspects of outbound loads to the Distribution Centers and Customers.
• Ensure that the daily work schedule is completed according to business productivity requirements and guidelines as provided by the site Manager.
• Maintains storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommending improvements.
• Responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of Finished Goods and Raw Materials inventory reporting and systems controls.
• Conduct daily blind cycle counts and inventory analysis to solve discrepancies and validate system data integrity for Raw, Packaging and Finished Goods.
• Assist in a blind full cycle count of inventory quarterly as required by LOL for Raw, Packaging and Finished Goods.
• Execute inventory control procedures, coordinating with internal customers daily on physical cycle count results.
• Enforces all company rules and regulations.
• Manages customer service and internal customers’ requests promptly and resolves issues quickly.
• Ensures all required safety training is completed.
• Other duties as assigned

Equipment Used:

• Must be able to safely operate all Warehouse equipment (Stand-up, sit-down forklift, electric pallet jack, RF Scanners, etc.)

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Associate degree OR 6+ years of leadership experience in a Warehouse/Logistics role supporting a Food/Dairy Manufacturing setting.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a Warehouse/Logistics role supporting a Food/Dairy Manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of E1 system is helpful to oversee and maintain the work orders process, and to support Leads.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Salary Range:

$70,800 - $106,200. In most cases, candidates offered employment can expect to be hired at a pay rate near the middle of our salary ranges.
