Job summary

Kdc One in Groveport, OH is seeking a Material Control Supervisor to lead daily material control operations and supervise warehouse staff. You will oversee inventory accuracy, SAP transactions, and coordination of inbound/outbound deliveries while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires supervisory experience in a warehouse setting, familiarity with forklifts, and the ability to work 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Logistics or related field strongly preferred; in lieu of a degree, minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferable in the personal care, pharmaceutical or food industry.
• Minimum of two (2) years of previous supervisory experience required, preferable in a warehouse environment.
• Experience operating powered industrial equipment (forklifts, turret trucks, etc.)
• SAP experience preferred; HazMat certification is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE

Responsibilities

• Supervising and supporting daily material control operations during the shift
• Leading and coaching warehouse associates and forklift operators to ensure safe and efficient work practices
• Monitoring inventory accuracy and overseeing SAP transactions and reporting
• Coordinating pick lists, shipments, and material returns to support production and customer orders
• Scheduling and overseeing inbound and outbound deliveries while ensuring proper documentation
• Conducting inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions
• Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (OSHA, GMP, DOT, EPA)
• Serving as a key resource for SAP processes and operational best practices within the team
• Collaborating with production, transportation, and warehouse leadership to optimize material flow
