Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking an experienced program engineer for automotive interiors to lead design from concept through production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet specs and budgets, and you will travel to customer sites as needed.

Proficiency with CATIA and NX, Siemens TeamCenter PLM, and MS Project is preferred. This role emphasizes structured problem solving, risk management, and delivering on BOM targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in automotive interiors.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work at industrial plants.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered for certain positions.

Specific Requirements

Required Education Level:

Bachelor's Level Degree

Area of Study: mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)

• Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.

Required Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)

1 -3 Minimum Years of relevant experience in automotive interiors.

Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

Preferred Qualifications (Experience Level, Skills, Knowledge)

• Experience leading programs with full engineering responsibility.
• Experience in injection molded products preferred
• Experience in cut, saw and wrap designs
• Experience in mechanisms preferred - buttons, door openers, glove box, levers
• Siemens TeamCenter PLM experience
• CATIA and NX experience
• Good PC-Skills (Word, Excel, MS Project).
