Overview
Supervises daily planning, organizing, and operation of all warehouse functions for a designated shift or group, in partnership with the facility manager. This includes safety, quality, inventory, warehousing, transportation, administration, maintenance, and other areas as necessary.
(Weekends 6am - 6pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate facility activities to meet warehousing and distribution objectives safely, timely, and cost-effectively.
• Use software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track metrics, and resolve issues.
• Provide equipment, tools, and training to staff for safe and efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations and maintain proper records.
• Create a safe working environment, adhering to all policies and regulations.
• Develop standardized and efficient processes and procedures.
• Partner with the facility manager to control costs related to capital assets, operations, and labor.
• Lead, develop, evaluate, coach, and provide direction to staff.
• Ensure training and development of personnel.
• Maintain compliance with quality, food safety, and HAACP programs.
• Review employee hours, monitor attendance using Kronos software.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse or production settings.
• Degree or equivalent in business, management, logistics, or related field preferred.
• Experience with SAP or ERP systems strongly preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.

Working Conditions
Environment includes both office and warehouse settings, which may involve temperature extremes, including below freezing temperatures.
