A leading company in the food industry is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. The role involves coordinating activities, optimizing processes, and providing leadership to staff in a dynamic warehouse environment. Ideal candidates will have supervisory experience and a background in logistics or supply chain management.
Supervises daily planning, organizing, and operation of all warehouse functions for designated shift or group in partnership with facility manager. This includes, but is not limited to, safety, quality, inventory, warehousing, transportation, administration, maintenance, and other areas as necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Coordinate facility activities to ensure warehousing and distribution objectives for the shift are accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
· Utilize software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track production metrics, and to anticipate and resolve problems.
· Provide the necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations.
· Ensure compliance with government regulations, inclusive of Federal, State, and Local requirements while maintaining proper records and upholding facility responsibilities.
· Provide a safe working environment while ensuring compliance with Company, State, Local and Federal policies and regulations.
· Contribute to the development of standardized and efficient processes and procedures.
· Partner with the facility manager to implement cost-effective control systems over capital assets, operating expenditures, manpower and labor costs.
· Provide direction, development, evaluation, coaching and leadership to staff.
· Ensure training, coaching, development, and evaluation of personnel is completed as necessary.
· Ensure compliance with quality, food safety and HAACP support programs.
· Regularly review and approve employee hours and monitor attendance infractions using Kronos time management software.
· Performs other duties as required or directed.
· 3-5 years of warehouse or production supervisory experience.
· Degree or equivalent experience in business, management, logistics, supply chain, warehousing or production management preferred.
· SAP or ERP equivalent system experience strongly preferred.
· Lean and 6 sigma or other continuous improvement experience preferred.
The work environment consists of both office and warehouse, which may contain temperature extremes; in some cases, working in environments below freezing temperatures.
