Job Description Summary

We are looking for a warehouse supervisor to join our team in Zelienople, PA. As the warehouse supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of inventory management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will also ensure safety protocols are followed at all times within the warehouse environment. Excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities are required for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive incoming shipments and verify order accuracy
  • Organize storage areas by type or size of items
  • Pick materials for work orders (kitting process)
  • Pick, pack, and label outgoing shipments according to customer specifications
  • Ensure quality control standards are maintained during each step
  • Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking in Kanban/Supermarket areas
  • Coordinate with other departments regarding returns or order discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate transaction records for goods received or sent out
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations
  • Collaborate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and lead annual physical inventory
  • Inspect facilities regularly to ensure health & safety compliance
  • Train new employees on handling hazardous materials

Education / Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Associate's degree with 2-3 years' related experience
  • High School diploma or GED with 4-5 years' related experience
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong leadership skills for managing staff
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (JDE / MFG Pro)
  • Forklift certification is a plus
