Who We Are: USCS is committed to excellence in cold chain logistics. We seek a Warehouse Supervisor to lead operations effectively.

Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000

The Job Responsibilities

1. Provide leadership by coordinating workflow, focusing on safety, sanitation, cost control, productivity, accuracy, teamwork, and customer satisfaction.
2. Serve as a visible leader within the Cold Crew, fostering positive relationships and upholding company culture.
3. Participate in employment decisions such as hiring, promoting, and disciplinary actions.
4. Supervise warehouse tasks, customer requests, and labor allocation.
5. Determine overtime needs and seek management approval.
6. Manage incidents, injuries, and near-misses, conducting investigations and logging reports.
7. Handle corrective actions and interpersonal issues, consulting HR when necessary.
8. Improve labor efficiency through coaching and training.
9. Approve timecards, assist with scheduling, and manage time-off requests.
10. Conduct performance reviews with constructive feedback.
11. Ensure adherence to warehousing practices, food safety, SOPs, and inventory accuracy.
12. Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow.
13. Manage Warehouse Management System tasks and troubleshoot issues.
14. Resolve challenges collaboratively and act as an escalation point.
15. Perform warehouse associate and lead duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; 2+ years of college or 2-3 years supervisory experience.
• Warehouse supervision experience, preferably in food or temperature-controlled environments.
• Experience with RF and warehouse software, MS Office.
• Customer service orientation, planning, organization, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead and influence positively, handle multiple priorities, and work independently.

Physical Requirements

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Lift up to 70 lbs. occasionally with assistance.
• Work in temperatures from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise.
• May require overhead lifting and standing, walking, lifting for activities.
