Job summary

Sirius Staffing in Whitsett, NC seeks Warehouse Supervisor on a contract-to-hire basis to oversee daily operations and lead a team in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

You will manage inbound/outbound activities, monitor KPIs, coach staff, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and drive continuous improvement to boost productivity and accuracy.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to adapt to changing volumes while maintaining a safe, organized warehouse.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • 2+ years in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment.
  • At least 1 year in a Warehouse Lead / Supervisor role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and direct warehouse associates to meet daily fulfillment and shipping goals.
  • Assign daily tasks and coordinate workflow based on priorities and demand.
  • Monitor performance with hands-on coaching, training and guidance.
  • Track KPIs and productivity, and manage inventory accuracy.
  • Oversee receiving, picking, packing, staging, inventory and shipping activities.
  • Ensure safety procedures and SOP compliance; promote continuous improvement.

Job description

Sirius Staffing is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for contract to hire in Whitsett, NC.

Summary: The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee daily warehouse operations and lead associates in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct warehouse associates to achieve daily fulfillment, productivity, and shipping goals.
  • Assign daily tasks and coordinate workflow based on operational priorities and customer demand.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide hands‑on coaching, training, and guidance.
  • Track and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), productivity metrics, and operational goals.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement solutions to improve efficiency and results.
  • Oversee receiving, picking, packing, staging, inventory, and shipping activities.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and ensure products are properly handled and processed.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate solutions to minimize delays or disruptions.
  • Escalate significant operational, staffing, safety, or quality concerns when necessary.
  • Assist with workforce scheduling and workload planning based on volume and operational needs.
  • Ensure associates follow established safety procedures, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between warehouse associates and management to support effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to increase productivity, accuracy, quality, and overall warehouse performance.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of warehouse, distribution, logistics, or fulfillment center experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a Warehouse Lead, Team Lead, Supervisor, or similar leadership position.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
  • Experience monitoring productivity metrics and KPIs.
  • Working knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable.
  • Solutions‑oriented mindset with the ability to adjust priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with associates and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain on your feet for extended periods.
